eBay beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported Aug. 5, based on preliminary results. Revenue rose near 15% to about $3.1 billion, exceeding the $3.02 billion consensus by 3.9%, while gross margin held around 74% and operating margin came in near 22%. Net income increased about 50% to roughly $550 million from $368 million a year ago. Adjusted EPS of $1.60 topped the $1.50 estimate by 6.7% and was up from $1.37 a year earlier. Operating cash flow was about $523 million, and the company repurchased about $323 million of stock and paid about $138 million in dividends. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of $1.43 on revenue of $2.97 billion.
