Emerson Electric beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the third fiscal quarter of 2026, reported Aug. 4, as revenue rose about 7% to roughly $4.9 billion, above the $4.80 billion estimate by 1.4%, while adjusted EPS of $1.71 topped the $1.68 consensus by 1.8%. Net income climbed about 23% to $718 million from $586 million a year ago, and operating income came in at about $1.0 billion with operating margin near 21%, while gross margin held around 55%. It generated operating cash flow of about $1.4 billion, repurchased about $356 million of stock, and paid about $311 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $1.81 on revenue of $5.10 billion.
