EPS of $2.03 topped the $1.69 estimate by about 20%, while revenue of about $3.5 billion exceeded the $2.91 billion consensus by roughly 20%. Net income rose about 45% to about $266 million from about $184 million a year ago, and EPS was up 51.5% from $1.34. Gross profit came in at about $1.0 billion, with gross margin near 29% and operating margin around 10%. Operating cash flow was about $691 million, and the company repurchased about $355 million of stock and paid about $106 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $1.79 on revenue of $3.21 billion.
