Ford Motor Company beat on both the top and bottom line in the fiscal second quarter of 2026, reported July 28 based on preliminary results. Revenue fell 4% to about $48.3 billion from about $50.2 billion a year earlier, but still topped the about $47.2 billion consensus by about 2%, while adjusted EPS of $0.42 came in above the $0.33 estimate by about 27% and was up from $0.37 a year ago. The largest segment, company excluding Ford Credit, brought in about $44.9 billion, down 4%, and profitability stayed muted with gross margin near 13% and operating margin about 1%, alongside operating income of about $638 million. Operating cash flow was about $1.3 billion, Ford repurchased about $311 million of stock and paid about $607 million in dividends. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of $0.38 on revenue of $48.97 billion.
