Fastenal beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the fiscal second quarter of 2026, reported July 14, 2026, as EPS of $0.33 edged the $0.33 estimate by 0.4% and revenue of about $2.4 billion topped the about $2.3 billion consensus by 2.1%. Revenue rose 15% from about $2.1 billion a year ago, with the U.S. reportable segment generating about $2.0 billion and increasing 14%, leaving the domestic business as the main source of sales. Gross margin held near 45%, while operating income reached about $501.8 million with operating margin around 21%. Net income rose 16% to about $382.8 million from about $330.3 million a year ago, and EPS was up 14% from $0.29. Operating cash flow came in at about $142.3 million, Fastenal repurchased about $30.0 million of stock, and it paid about $275.4 million in dividends. Next-period consensus calls for EPS of $0.33 on revenue of $2.42 billion.
