Revenue rose 1.6% to about EUR 8.2 billion from EUR 8.034 billion a year ago, while operating income reached about EUR 3.4 billion and margins stayed elevated, with gross margin near 66% and operating margin around 42%. EPS of EUR 21.09 was down 3.1% from EUR 21.76 a year ago, net income edged down 0.4% to about EUR 2.2 billion from EUR 2.246 billion, and operating cash flow was about EUR 2.7 billion. The company also paid about EUR 1.9 billion in dividends.
