Advanced Micro Devices beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported Aug. 4, based on preliminary results. Revenue rose 50.1% to about $11.5 billion and came in 2.0% above the $11.31 billion consensus, with gross margin near 54% and operating margin around 17% as operating income reached about $2.0 billion. Adjusted EPS was $1.66, topping the $1.62 estimate by 2.5% and up from $0.48 a year ago, while net income climbed 163.4% to about $2.3 billion from $872 million a year earlier. Operating cash flow came to about $2.4 billion. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of $1.88 on revenue of $12.66 billion.
