Applied Materials topped consensus on both revenue and adjusted EPS in the third fiscal quarter of 2026, based on preliminary results reported August 13. Revenue of $9.115 billion topped the $8.995 billion estimate, +1.3%, and rose 24.8% from about $7.3 billion a year ago, while adjusted EPS of $3.50 topped the $3.40 estimate, +2.9%, and improved from $2.48. Net income rose 42.7% to about $2.5 billion from about $1.8 billion a year earlier, with gross margin around 50% and operating margin near 34% rounding out the profitability picture. Operating cash flow came to about $3.0 billion, and the company repurchased about $440 million of stock and paid about $420 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $4.03 on revenue of $10.244 billion.
