Continental’s second fiscal quarter of 2026 results missed expectations on earnings, with adjusted EPS of EUR 1.16 trailing the EUR 1.41 estimate (-17.7%), as reported August 4, 2026, alongside a sharp year-over-year pullback in sales. Revenue fell 31.6% to about EUR 3.3 billion (down from EUR 4.856 billion a year ago), while net income declined 45.8% to roughly EUR 274 million versus EUR 506.0 million a year ago.
