EssilorLuxottica’s first half of fiscal 2026 results featured revenue that came in line with consensus while EPS trailed, as reported July 28, 2026. Revenue rose 5.7% to roughly EUR 14.8 billion (up from EUR 14.024 billion a year ago), with the consensus comparison showing revenue of EUR 14.818 billion versus an estimate of EUR 14.918 billion (-0.7%, in line). Profitability was supported by a gross margin of about 64% and an operating margin near 15%, with operating income of roughly EUR 2.3 billion on gross profit of about EUR 9.4 billion. Net income increased 12.9% to about EUR 1.6 billion (from EUR 1.387 billion a year ago). EPS was EUR 3.34, up from EUR 3.05 a year ago, and in the consensus comparison EPS of EUR 3.34 trailed the EUR 3.84 estimate (-13%). The group generated operating cash flow of roughly EUR 2.2 billion and paid about EUR 1.7 billion in dividends. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of EUR 3.50 on revenue of EUR 15.839 billion.
