Flex beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the first fiscal quarter of 2027, reported July 29 for the period ended June 26, as adjusted EPS of $1.00 topped the $0.90 estimate by 11.2%, up 38.9% from $0.72 a year ago, and revenue of about $7.9 billion beat the $7.5 billion consensus by 5.3% while rising 20.6% year over year. Revenue growth was led by Over time, which rose 83.4% to about $3.3 billion, and CPI, which increased 35.4% to about $2.2 billion, while Point in time remained the largest segment at about $4.6 billion despite a 3.5% decline; gross margin held near 9.4% and operating margin near 4.9% as gross profit reached roughly $747 million and operating income about $392 million. Net income increased 48.4% to about $285 million from $192 million a year earlier, operating cash flow was about $519 million, and the company repurchased about $944 million of stock. Next-period consensus calls for EPS of $1.03 on revenue of $8.17 billion.
