Gross profit reached about $8.9 billion with gross margin near 17%, while operating income came in at about $7.3 billion and operating margin held around 14%. Net income climbed about 323% to roughly $5.1 billion from about $1.2 billion a year ago, reflecting the much higher sales base. The company generated operating cash flow of about $11.5 billion, repurchased about $3.3 billion of stock, and paid about $585 million in dividends.
