Petroleo Brasileiro SA topped expectations on both the top and bottom line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported Aug. 6. Revenue rose 59.8% to roughly $33.6 billion from about $21.0 billion a year ago, while net income climbed 120.3% to about $10.4 billion from nearly $4.7 billion. EPS of $1.62 topped the $1.52 estimate, +6.6%, and was up from $0.64 a year ago. Operating income came in at about $14.1 billion, with gross margin near 58% and operating margin around 42%, while operating cash flow was about $11.9 billion and the company paid $1.6 billion in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $1.13 on revenue of $30.735 billion.
