APA Corporation’s preliminary results for the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported August 5, showed revenue trailing consensus even as sales grew year over year. Revenue rose 10.1% to about $2.4 billion (up from about $2.2 billion a year ago), but it trailed the $2.460 billion estimate (-2.5%). Adjusted EPS of $1.89 came in line with the $1.90 estimate (-0.5%). On the bottom line, net income increased 23.9% to roughly $747 million, up from about $603 million a year earlier. APA generated operating cash flow of about $1.7 billion during the quarter, and it returned cash to shareholders through roughly $100 million of share repurchases and about $89 million of dividends. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of $1.21 on revenue of $2.138 billion.
