Occidental Petroleum beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported Aug. 5, as revenue rose 27.7% to about $8.1 billion and EPS of $2.40 topped the $1.83 estimate by 31.1%. Net income climbed to about $2.8 billion from $431 million a year ago, while operating income came in at about $3.0 billion. Revenue also exceeded the $7.07 billion consensus by 14.0%, and operating cash flow was about $5.6 billion. The company repurchased about $117 million of stock and paid about $839 million in dividends.
