Gen Digital topped consensus on both revenue and adjusted EPS in the first fiscal quarter of 2027, reported Aug. 6 for the period ended July 3, with adjusted EPS of $0.71 against a $0.69 estimate, +3%, and revenue of $1.336 billion against a $1.312 billion estimate, +1.8%. Revenue rose 6.3% to roughly $1.3 billion from $1.257 billion a year ago, while gross margin held near 77% and operating margin near 33%, and operating income came to about $443 million. Net income rose 59.3% to about $215 million from $135 million a year ago; operating cash flow was about $434 million, and the company repurchased about $100 million of stock and paid about $81 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $0.71 on revenue of $1.338 billion.
