HP beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the third fiscal quarter of 2026, based on preliminary results reported August 26, 2026, with revenue rising 12.5% to about $15.7 billion (up from $13.932 billion a year ago) as the Personal Systems and Printing businesses contributed to the higher sales base. Adjusted EPS of $0.83 topped the $0.66 estimate (+25%), while revenue of $15.677 billion topped the $14.435 billion estimate (+8.6%). Profitability was supported by a gross margin of ~19% and operating margin of ~6%, translating into roughly $892 million of operating income on about $2.9 billion of gross profit. Net income fell 13.4% to roughly $661 million (down from $763.0 million a year ago). The quarter generated operating cash flow of about $1.7 billion, and HP returned cash through roughly $300 million of share repurchases and about $274 million of dividends. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of $0.67 on revenue of $14.407 billion.
