The Sherwin-Williams Company beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported July 28, with adjusted EPS of $3.70 topping the $3.52 estimate by about 5% and revenue of roughly $6.8 billion beating the $6.6 billion consensus by about 3%. Revenue rose about 8% from roughly $6.3 billion a year ago, while gross margin held near 49% and operating margin was around 18%, leaving operating income at about $1.2 billion and net income up about 12% to roughly $844 million from about $755 million a year earlier. Adjusted EPS also climbed 9.5% from $3.38 a year ago, operating cash flow was about $1.4 billion, and the company paid roughly $198 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $3.58 on revenue of $6.66 billion.
