Western Digital Corporation beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2026, reported on Aug. 5, 2026, as revenue rose 43.8% to about $3.8 billion, up from $2.60 billion a year ago, and net income jumped 1143.2% to about $3.2 billion from $257 million. EPS of $3.56 topped the $3.31 estimate by +7.6%, while revenue of about $3.8 billion edged the $3.70 billion consensus by +1.3%; EPS was up 114.5% from $1.66 a year ago. Gross margin held near 54% while operating margin stayed around 40%, with operating income at about $1.5 billion. Operating cash flow came in at about $1.4 billion, the company repurchased about $672 million of stock, and it paid about $54 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $3.84 on revenue of $4.06 billion.
