BizLink to buy Interplex Datacom for $850 million

BizLink Holding has agreed to acquire Singapore-based Interplex Datacom for an enterprise value of $850 million in cash. The agreement adds up to $50 million in contingent consideration, bringing potential total consideration to $900 million. The transaction is aimed at strengthening BizLink’s presence in data center connectivity and infrastructure markets.

The deal is structured as a purchase of Interplex Datacom, a division of Ennovi, which is a portfolio company under funds managed by Blackstone. By targeting this specific unit, BizLink is focusing on assets that are already closely aligned with high-growth digital infrastructure end markets.

Interplex Datacom provides customized interconnect solutions and high-precision mechanical products. Its portfolio includes components used in AI server racks, positioning the business within a segment benefiting from rising demand for advanced computing and data processing capacity.

BizLink has highlighted the acquisition as a way to expand its data center connectivity and infrastructure capabilities. Adding Interplex Datacom’s structural and mechanical expertise complements BizLink’s existing connectivity offerings, creating a broader set of solutions for hyperscale and enterprise customers that require integrated data center hardware.

Interplex Datacom generated about $392 million in revenue in the 12 months ended March 31, 2026. The company employs more than 1,900 people, reflecting a substantial operational footprint that BizLink will integrate into its global platform.

The business has operations in China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand. This manufacturing and engineering network across multiple Asian countries provides geographic diversification and proximity to key electronics and data center supply chains in the region.

The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. This timeline allows for completion of necessary regulatory reviews in the jurisdictions where the businesses operate.

BizLink plans to finance the acquisition using a combination of cash on hand and debt financing arranged by Citigroup (C). This funding approach underscores the size of the transaction relative to BizLink’s balance sheet while providing flexibility to complete the cash-based enterprise value payment and any subsequent contingent consideration.
