CrowdStrike (CRWD) is holding near its highs after roughly doubling since April, trading only about 17% off peak levels while broader growth stocks show signs of lagging. Price action across the cybersecurity theme is characterized by visible accumulation, pointing to sustained institutional demand rather than a blow‑off top.

Historically, similar setups in cybersecurity leadership phases have produced extended outperformance. During 2017-2018, the ETFMG Prime Cyber Security ETF (HACK) advanced meaningfully more than the Nasdaq 100 (NDX), and in the post‑COVID rebound from 2020 to late 2021, the First Trust NASDAQ Cybersecurity ETF (CIBR) and key components such as CRWD, Zscaler (ZS), Okta (OKTA), Palo Alto Networks (PANW), and Fortinet (FTNT) delivered multiple strong quarters from high‑level consolidations.
