Key Points

  • 01Stellantis estimates Q2 2026 shipments at 1.6 million vehicles, up 10% year over year
  • 02North America leads growth with a 38% year over year shipment increase
  • 03Enlarged Europe shipments rise 5%, adding about 39,000 units
  • 04Leapmotor‑branded shipments jump to about 33,000 units in the quarter

Stronger Q2 2026 shipments for Stellantis

Stellantis reported estimated consolidated vehicle shipments of 1.6 million units for the second quarter of 2026, representing a 10% increase compared with the same quarter a year earlier. The figures are based on vehicles invoiced to dealers, distributors, or directly to customers for the period ended June 30, 2026. The company described these numbers as estimated and unaudited and noted that they may be adjusted.

The broad increase reflects both regional strength and targeted product initiatives. While overall shipments advanced, performance varied across geographies, with particularly strong gains in North America and steady growth in Enlarged Europe offset by declines in certain emerging markets.

North America drives shipment growth

North America was the main contributor to the company’s shipment expansion in the quarter. Shipments in the region increased by approximately 122,000 units, a 38% year‑over‑year rise. Stellantis linked this growth to new and refreshed models and updated powertrain offerings, which supported higher invoicing volumes to dealers and customers.

The magnitude of the increase in North America more than compensated for declines in some other regions. This performance underscores the importance of the North American market to Stellantis’s overall shipment profile during the quarter.

Enlarged Europe posts moderate gains

Enlarged Europe also contributed positively to second‑quarter shipment trends. Shipments in this region increased by about 39,000 units, equivalent to a 5% year‑over‑year rise. This added a steady base of incremental volume alongside the faster‑growing North American business.

The combined gains from North America and Enlarged Europe formed the core of Stellantis’s 10% overall shipment increase. These regions’ performance helped offset weaker conditions elsewhere in the group’s footprint.

Leapmotor and regional declines

Leapmotor‑branded vehicles provided an additional source of growth in the quarter. Shipments of these vehicles reached about 33,000 units, an increase of roughly 25,000 units compared with the prior‑year period. This expansion in Leapmotor volumes added to the company’s overall shipment momentum.

At the same time, Stellantis experienced declines in certain regions. Shipments in Middle East & Africa fell by approximately 4,000 units, about 3% year over year. South America shipments declined by roughly 7,000 units, also about 3%, with Argentina accounting for a notable reduction of around 25,000 units.

Despite these regional headwinds, the company’s global shipment total still advanced by 10% in the quarter. Stellantis cautioned that all reported shipment figures for Q2 2026 are estimated, unaudited, and subject to potential adjustment.

Key Takeaways

  • 01Stellantis achieved a double‑digit year‑over‑year shipment increase in Q2 2026, led by strong performance in its largest developed markets.
  • 02North America’s 38% shipment growth was the primary engine of expansion, supported by updated models and powertrains.
  • 03Enlarged Europe and Leapmotor‑branded vehicles provided additional volume gains that offset softness in Middle East & Africa and South America.
