Entergy Corporation beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the fiscal second quarter of 2026, reported July 29, based on preliminary results. Revenue rose 5.9% to about $3.5 billion, from $3.33 billion a year ago, and came in 0.9% above the roughly $3.5 billion consensus, while EPS of $1.03 topped the $1.01 estimate by 2.0% and was down 1.9% from $1.05 a year earlier; net income increased 3.4% to about $488 million from $472 million a year ago, with gross margin near 30% and operating margin near 24%. The largest contributor was Electricity, US Regulated, at about $3.2 billion, up 15.0% year over year, while operating cash flow was about $1.89 billion and the company paid about $297.6 million in dividends. Consensus for the next period calls for EPS of $1.69 on revenue of $4.30 billion.
