Stride topped expectations on both the top and bottom line in the first fiscal quarter of 2027, based on preliminary results reported October 20, 2026, as revenue rose 3.0% to roughly $639.4 million (up from $620.9 million a year ago) while adjusted EPS of $1.37 topped the $1.07 estimate (+28%) despite being down from $1.52 a year ago. Revenue of $639.4 million also topped the $612.2 million consensus (+4.4%). Profitability came through at a gross margin of about 37.7% and an operating margin of around 13.2%, with gross profit of roughly $241.1 million and operating income of about $84.3 million. Net income slipped 5.6% year over year to approximately $64.9 million (down from $68.8 million a year ago). Cash flow was a swing point in the quarter, with negative operating cash flow of about $124.8 million, and Stride repurchased roughly $19.5 million of stock.
