Mueller Water Products beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the third fiscal quarter of 2026, reported Aug. 5, based on preliminary results, with revenue of about $395.9 million topping the $391.5 million estimate by about 1% and adjusted EPS of $0.50 ahead of the $0.39 view by about 28%. Revenue rose about 4% from roughly $380.3 million a year ago, while gross margin held near 39% and operating margin near 20%; operating income came in at roughly $80.6 million and net income rose about 28% to around $67.3 million from about $52.5 million. Water Flow Solutions, the largest segment, generated about $218.3 million, up about 1%, and Central Water Flow Solutions added roughly $66.8 million, rising 15.0%. The per-share figure improved about 47% from $0.34 a year earlier. Operating cash flow reached about $154.2 million, and the company repurchased roughly $15.5 million of stock while paying about $32.8 million in dividends.
