Northrop Grumman beat expectations on both the top and bottom line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reported on July 21, as revenue of about $10.9 billion topped the $10.8 billion estimate by about 1% and rose about 5% from a year ago, while EPS of $7.68 beat the $6.82 consensus by about 13% and was up about 8% from $7.11 a year ago. Revenue was concentrated in the United States at about $9.3 billion, up about 4%, and Aeronautics Systems was the largest segment at about $2.8 billion, up about 12%. Operating income came to about $1.1 billion, with gross margin near 20% and operating margin near 10%, while net income was about $1.1 billion, down about 7% from about $1.2 billion a year ago. Operating cash flow was about $1.3 billion, and the company paid $351 million in dividends. Next-period consensus calls for EPS of $7.04 on revenue of $11.10 billion.
