Evolution Metals boosts 2026 revenue outlook

Evolution Metals & Technologies has increased its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $10 million to $11 million. This compares with a prior range of $5 million to $8 million, raising both the low and high ends of the company’s expectations for that year.

The company stated that the low end of the 2026 revenue range has doubled, moving from $5 million to $10 million. The midpoint of the guidance increased from $6.5 million to $10.5 million, representing a 62% rise at the midpoint.

Management said the updated fiscal 2026 guidance is based on expectations of customer demand rather than on contracted volumes. The company highlighted that its outlook reflects anticipated market conditions and commercial activity, not firm orders already in hand.

Drivers of the upgraded 2026 guidance

Evolution Metals attributed the higher 2026 revenue outlook to several factors. These include an expanded non-China rare earth feedstock position, improved rare earth pricing, and continued commercial demand for its products.

The expanded non-China feedstock position suggests greater access to rare earth materials outside China. Combined with stronger pricing and ongoing demand, these elements were cited as supporting the decision to lift the company’s near-term revenue expectations.

Reaffirmed 2027 outlook and growth ambitions

Alongside the revision to its 2026 targets, Evolution Metals reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $400 million to $460 million. This longer-term outlook remains unchanged despite the near-term adjustment.

The company has indicated that achieving the larger 2027 revenue target depends on several operational milestones. These include timely equipment delivery and commissioning, successful production ramp-up, and the conversion of expected customer demand into actual orders and shipments.

Capacity expansion at Pohang facility

Evolution Metals detailed expansion plans at its facility in Pohang, Republic of Korea. Thirteen additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines are scheduled for delivery in October 2026, with installation to commence at the site.

Once this new equipment is operating, the company expects annual magnet production capacity to exceed 10,000 metric tons. This total is projected to include roughly 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets, representing a significant scale of output for the facility.

Evolution Metals also plans to open the Pohang facility to visitors on December 17, 2026. The scheduled opening date is positioned after the planned delivery of the new ULVAC sintered magnet machines.

Key Takeaways

  • 01The company’s near-term revenue expectations have risen sharply, with the 2026 guidance range moving higher and its midpoint materially higher.
  • 02Management links the stronger 2026 outlook to supply positioning and pricing in rare earth markets, as well as ongoing commercial demand.
  • 03A large 2027 revenue target has been reaffirmed, supported by planned capacity additions but contingent on execution and order conversion.
  • 04Planned magnet production expansions in Korea are central to the company’s growth plans, with expected capacity above 10,000 metric tons annually.
