Key Points

  • 01LVMH Q3 2026 revenue reached €18.504 billion, up 1% organically
  • 02Nine-month 2026 revenue totaled €57.1 billion, with 2% organic growth
  • 03Fashion & Leather Goods sales fell 5% organically in Q3 amid weaker China
  • 04Other divisions posted mid- to high-single-digit organic growth in Q3

Slower third-quarter growth for LVMH

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (MCp) generated total revenue of €18.504 billion in the third quarter of 2026, delivering organic revenue growth of 1% compared with the same period in 2025. For the first nine months of 2026, revenue reached €57.1 billion, representing organic growth of 2% versus the prior-year period.

In the third quarter, reported revenue reflected offsetting technical effects. On a constant consolidation scope and currency basis, exchange-rate fluctuations contributed a positive 2% impact, while changes in scope reduced revenue growth by 2%.

Fashion & Leather Goods hit by China slowdown

The Fashion & Leather Goods business group, which includes Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and other maisons, saw a decline in activity in the third quarter. Organic revenue for the division fell 5% year-on-year in the period and was down 2% on an organic basis over the first nine months of 2026.

LVMH linked the weaker performance in this core division to a less buoyant environment in China during the quarter. While demand in China slowed, the group reported good growth in the United States, Europe and Japan, underscoring differing regional trends across its key markets.

Stronger momentum in other business groups

Outside Fashion & Leather Goods, several LVMH divisions posted solid organic growth in the third quarter of 2026. Wines & Spirits recorded 6% organic revenue growth in the quarter and 5% growth over the first nine months of the year.

Watches & Jewelry achieved 6% organic growth in the third quarter and 8% over nine months, while Selective Retailing delivered 8% organic growth in the quarter and 6% for the nine-month period. Perfumes & Cosmetics remained stable on an organic basis over the first nine months of 2026, indicating flat organic revenue in that segment.

Group outlook and strategic focus

LVMH stated that its third-quarter organic revenue growth reflects the impact of a less buoyant environment in China, set against good growth in the United States, Europe and Japan. The group described the broader geopolitical and economic context as uncertain but reiterated its strategic focus on enhancing the desirability of its brands.

Management signaled confidence in the group’s ability to navigate current conditions while maintaining this strategy. The combination of slower growth in Fashion & Leather Goods and sustained expansion in other divisions highlights differing dynamics across LVMH’s portfolio as 2026 progresses.

Key Takeaways

  • 01LVMH’s overall growth in 2026 remains positive but modest, with low single-digit organic gains at both the quarterly and nine-month levels.
  • 02The core Fashion & Leather Goods division is under pressure, contrasting with healthier trends in Wines & Spirits, Watches & Jewelry and Selective Retailing.
  • 03Geographic performance is uneven, with slower conditions in China offset by good growth in the United States, Europe and Japan.
  • 04Currency and scope effects largely cancel each other, so underlying business trends rather than technical factors drove the reported third-quarter outcome.
