Nike’s China Slump Weighs On NKE Outlook

Nike Inc. (NKE) is confronting a rare combination of slowing brand momentum and deteriorating regional mix just as markets refocus on near‑term earnings quality.

Most recently, Nike (NKE) Brand revenue printed at $10.7 billion, flat on a reported basis but down 3% on a currency‑neutral basis. Management attributed the shortfall primarily to declines in Greater China and EMEA, with North America growth only partially offsetting that weakness.

Revenue composition is also shifting in an unfavorable way.
