VoIP-Pal adds strategic legal consultant

VoIP-Pal.com Inc. announced on June 16, 2026 that it has engaged C. Glen Ged, founder of Ged Lawyers, LLP, as a Strategic Legal Consultant. The company framed the move as part of its effort to strengthen and expand its litigation resources while major federal cases progress. Ged is described as having decades of experience in consumer class actions, mass torts and complex commercial litigation.

In his new role, Ged will provide senior strategic advice on litigation direction and next steps for VoIP-Pal. He is also expected to leverage longstanding professional relationships with leading consumer class action and complex litigation firms to support the company’s cases. His responsibilities include helping to identify, interview and evaluate nationally recognized firms with substantial experience representing consumers in major class proceedings.

VoIP-Pal stated that it is advancing four related federal actions in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia tied to the U.S. mobile communications industry. Two of these are direct antitrust actions brought by the company itself. One antitrust case involves major mobile network carriers AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ) and T‑Mobile (TMUS). The second antitrust case centers on mobile platform providers Apple (AAPL), Google and Samsung.

Alongside the direct lawsuits, VoIP-Pal is also involved in two parallel consumer class actions. These class cases assert related claims on behalf of U.S. mobile subscribers. The company indicated that the antitrust suits and the class actions are interconnected and are progressing together in the same federal court.

A key objective in retaining Ged is to enhance the company’s consumer class action capabilities. VoIP-Pal said Ged will assist in evaluating litigation support and coordination structures intended to complement and strengthen the existing litigation effort. This includes assessing how outside firms and internal teams can be organized to handle complex, large-scale consumer matters.

The company highlighted Ged’s experience in coordinating large-scale consumer litigation and working alongside leading plaintiff firms as particularly relevant. Management characterized his expertise in evaluating complex claims and structuring collaboration among law firms as a resource for both the antitrust and class action components of the ongoing cases. VoIP-Pal indicated that the engagement reflects a continued focus on reinforcing its legal strategy as the federal actions advance.
