Delta Air Lines’ revenue beat expectations while adjusted EPS missed, as results for the third fiscal quarter of 2026 reported October 9, 2026 showed revenue rose 21.1% to about $20.2 billion (up from roughly $16.7 billion a year ago) but adjusted EPS of $1.72 trailed the $1.77 estimate (-2.8%) even as revenue of $20.186 billion topped the $17.652 billion estimate (+14.4%). Profitability came through a gross margin of roughly 33% on gross profit of about $6.7 billion, while operating income was about $1.5 billion with operating margin near 7%. Net income fell 46.6% to roughly $756 million, down from about $1.4 billion a year ago. The quarter generated operating cash flow of about $1.7 billion, and Delta paid roughly $141 million in dividends. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of $1.40 on revenue of $17.340 billion.
