Inditex’s adjusted EPS trailed consensus even as revenue came in essentially in line in the second fiscal quarter of 2026 (period ended July 31, 2026), reported September 9, 2026. Revenue rose 9.1% to about EUR 11.0 billion (up from EUR 10.083 billion a year ago); on the consensus tape, revenue of EUR 11.005 billion was in line with the EUR 10.930 billion estimate (+0.7%). Adjusted EPS was EUR 0.51, up 8.3% from EUR 0.47 a year ago, but it trailed the EUR 0.53 estimate (-5%). Gross profit came in at roughly EUR 6.2 billion, with gross margin at ~57%, and operating income was also about EUR 6.2 billion alongside an operating margin near 57%. Net income increased 8.0% to roughly EUR 1.6 billion, compared with EUR 1.486 billion a year ago. For the next period, consensus calls for EPS of EUR 0.65 on revenue of EUR 10.610 billion.
